Mat Work Classes

£9.00

Per 1 hr session – Classes are taught in blocks of four sessions

This class is suitable for beginners or if you have injuries or joint issues. During class, we encourage you to listen to your body as we can modify exercises to your needs. We’ll explain the exercises, encouraging you to be constantly aware of your alignment, breath and movement. This mindful movement relapses tension and the repetition improves strength

Matwork classes use both the Pilates mat and small equipment such as hand weights, stability balls and bands to offer resistance, variety and challenge.

One to One sessions

£50.00

per hour – 2 to 1 options are also available on request

If you’re new to Pilates,  a one-to-one would be the best place to start before joining a class. One-to-one Pilates sessions may be appropriate if you’re recovering from injury or have chronic pain before joining a class

Classes for group Pilates are paid for in blocks of 4 in advance

Up to 12 people in classes thereby enabling Jayne to work with individuals to ensure they are exercising safely and correctly.

You will need a mat, head cushion and small towel for an initial session and a square cushion for some exercises

If you know in advance that you will miss a class within a block, then prices will be adjusted accordingly. If you miss a class at short notice, this cannot be carried forward

Wear something that you feel comfortable in and that you can move easily in without restriction, for example, leggings and a t-shirt, and wear socks or barefoot.
