Pilates with Jayne
I’m a Chartered Physiotherapist, Coach and Pilates Teacher experienced in enabling people to be well and stay well. I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1987 and since then exercises have played a key role in my work supporting people to recover from injury and stay healthy and be the best they can be.
Having used Pilates during my Physiotherapy practice for many years, in 2019 I decided to become a certified Body Control Pilates Teacher. This rigorous qualification is seen as an international benchmark in Pilates Teacher training. Since then, I have completed further training in using small equipment such as balls, bands and the Pilates ring.
In our lives today we are often stationary in our work, travelling and when relaxing. I enjoy helping people realign their bodies, move, breathe, and develop more strength and coordination. There is a level of Pilates for everyone to enjoy enabling us to look after ourselves and keep moving.

Each week I continue to develop my own Pilates practice of taking lessons to improve my well-being. I believe that physical activity is a vital component of a healthy lifestyle and Pilates balances the physical and mental aspects of this.
